Some of said Goku Jr is really weak for a SSJ. So does he handle Frieza or isn't back to where he came from? |

Piccolo Daimao > Piccolo Jr.

Depends, if you use the special or the anime. The special portrays Son Goku Jr. as a weak kid, the anime portrays him as a determine fighter, who can keep up with Vegeta Jr. who is skilled. |

Vegeta Jr might be just as weak. Anyway I'll say Freeza easily, Goku Jr was scared of a bear thief-look a like o.O |

it seems that people are already re-forgetting the separation of canon and non-canon. goku jr. is canon to gt. his actions in a movie have no bearing on how powerful he actually is. goku jr. was trained by pan, who never stopped training after gt, and was already powerful enough to knock around buu tier opponents (either fat buu or kid buu, imo). unless she just taught goku jr. the fighting style, and then went and trained on her own and left him to do push ups all day, he should easily thrash any pre gt villain, possibly barring buu's advanced forms. |

I'm a little bit torn on this one. I think Goku Jr would win, and I agree with lunar2. |

Neither GT or it's special are canon though, and we get more info on his strength from the special. |

But isn't Goku Jr. hardly Saiyan at all? Cuz the only way I see him beating Frieza is if the less Saiyan you are the stronger you get, which doesn't make sense for anything lower than Hybrids. |

i didn't say gt was canon to dragonball. it's not. but it is canon to itself. the special, being a movie and not part of the series, is irrelevant to goku jr.'s power. that would be like using movie 9 to determine tien's power at the cell games, because we actually see him fight in movie 9. it doesn't work like that, no matter what series you look at. goku jr. is a gt character, so we use gt to determine his power, not an irrelevant movie.
he's saiyan enough to go ssj, and the generational rule states that he should be able to get more powerful than anyone that came before. plus, there is still the whole "he trained with an ssj2/ssj3 tier person, therefore, he should be capable of ssj2/ssj3 tier power" |

Well then I really have no idea how strong he'd be. The match between him and Vegeta Jr was actually an EXACT copy of Goten vs Trunks before they transformed so I'm using that logic to say he's as strong as Goten >_> |

that works just fine. it also makes sense, having him about that strong considering his age and who he trains with. of course, that also means that any villain weaker than suppressed perfect cell is a stomp for him. |

he's 1/16th saiyan. pan is 1/4 saiyan. her kid is 1/8th, goku jr. is 1/16th. and vegeta jr. is 1/8th. |

Piccolo Daimao > Piccolo Jr.

Doubtable. Vegeta Jr. joined the tournament not just for fun, he joined it because he was a skilled combatant. Son Goku Jr. in the special, was portrayed as a weak unexperienced child, that equal's Son Gohan's persona before he trained with Piccolo. By logic, Vegeta Jr. would've whooped his butt in the tournament, going by the special, Son Goku Jr. wasn't even able to defend himself against bully's or a bear-demon. In GT though, Son Goku Jr. is good enough to go one on one with Vegeta Jr., despite what is portrayed in the special. GT screwed their own logic. |

Not really. Assuming Goku Jr from the special is the Goku Jr from GT I don't see a problem. Not only could he easily get stronger but you're saying he must be amazingly strong to keep up with Vegeta Jr when really we have no idea how strong Vegeta Jr is either. They could have powerlevels of like 500 for all we know. |

well, no. they would at least need to be the minimum base power for ssj, which technically can be anywhere from 30,001 to 89,999, but i put it at 50,000. that would be an ssj power of 2,500,000, which is enough to go up against initial final form frieza (speed suppressed). every ssj that ever existed is at least that powerful. |
